To ensure robust financial control and operational excellence as we expand across key regional markets, we are seeking a strong, hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to take full ownership of the finance function across our MENA and SEE organizations. Based in Dubai, you will manage end-to-end accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and event finances for both HYROX MENA Events Management LLC (Dubai) and HYROX SEE Sportif Organizasyon A.Ş. (Istanbul). Full Accounting & Month-End Closing: Oversee full-cycle accounting for both the Dubai and Istanbul legal entities, including AP, AR, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
Full Budget & Financial Ownership: Own, build, and manage annual budgets across company, country, and event levels for MENA and SEE, driving variance analysis (actuals vs. budget), cost control, and strategic re-forecasting.
Banking & Treasury Management: Manage day-to-day banking relationships, payment processing, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, bank reconciliations, and payment approvals to guarantee financial stability.
Event Finance & P&L Control: Manage event-specific financial workflows across MENA and SEE, overseeing supplier commitments, revenue tracking, event P&L performance, and post-event financial reconciliations.
Intercompany Transactions & Reconciliations: Direct and reconcile intercompany transactions and transfer pricing touchpoints between HYROX MENA, HYROX SEE, HYROX World, and other global entities.
Tax, Audit & Local Compliance: Coordinate VAT, Corporate Tax filings, statutory requirements, external audits, and local accounting regulations in close collaboration with external tax advisors across all regional jurisdictions.
Financial Controls & Dual Reporting: Establish rigorous approval workflows, procurement controls, and documentation standards, while maintaining functional reporting to the Global CFO and local reporting to the Managing Director MENA & SEE.
Senior Finance & Accounting Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial management, or corporate finance, ideally covering multi-entity operations within international, fast-paced environments.
Full-Cycle Accounting & ERP Mastery: Strong expertise in managing general ledger, AP/AR, month-end closing, and treasury operations, with high proficiency in modern ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Xero) and advanced Excel.
Event & Project Finance Acumen: Proven track record in managing event or project-based budgets, supplier commitments, and post-event financial reconciliations.
Multi-Jurisdiction Tax & Audit: Solid understanding of statutory compliance, VAT, corporate tax, and working effectively with external audit and tax partners across international markets.
Proactive Ownership & Controls Mindset: Highly structured, hands-on personality capable of establishing financial controls and processes completely from scratch while providing clear cash flow visibility.
Location & Travel Readiness: Based in Dubai, UAE, with the willingness to travel to Istanbul and live event sites across MENA and SEE as needed.
Languages: Excellent professional English skills (written and spoken) are required; fluency in Turkish and/or Arabic is a strong plus, and additional languages are an advantage.
